Juliette Sales has been a prominent screenwriter for over two decades, shaping cinematic landscape with her talent and dedication. A graduate of Sciences-Po, ESSEC, and the University of Kent, her career began as a producer for UGC Images before transitioning to scriptwriting in 1998. Her early works include collaborations with esteemed directors such as Stéphane Brizé for Not Here to Be Loved (nominated for four Cèsar Awards in 2006), Agnès Merlet for Dorothy (four IFTA nominations in 2009), and Gèrald Hustache-Mathieu for Poupoupidou.
In 2011, she joined forces with Fabien Suarez, co-writing the successful Belle & Sébastien trilogy, which grossed over €70 million in France and achieved global acclaim. Expanding her creative scope, she co-founded PAGE 1 in 2018, producing and developing projects with celebrated directors like Olivier Babinet and Houda Benyamina. A passionate mentor, Juliette also conducts workshops and serves as a tutor for EQUINOXE’s European program.
